Te cuento un poco sobre mí
Nací en Buenos Aires, Argentina, lugar en el que vivo actualmente.
Si intento descubrir cuándo comencé a dibujar, no lo sé con exactitud. A mi mente llegan recuerdos de momentos en los que, desde muy pequeña, me veo rodeada de lápices de colores.
Mi tiempo libre se lo dedicaba a dibujar y pintar. Sin duda alguna, la devoción de mi madre por la pintura y la música fueron una fuerte influencia que marcó mi vocación.
Me gradué como Licenciada en Psicología y trabajé varios años hasta que formé mi familia con Carlos. Tenemos tres hijos, a los que amo.
Durante mucho tiempo, el arte siguió siendo parte de mi tiempo libre.
En 2007 comencé a transitar una etapa distinta en mi trabajo: incorporé la espiritualidad, que en la actualidad es la base no solo de mis sesiones, sino también de aquello que intento transmitir en mis obras.
La pandemia que nos atravesó mundialmente en 2020 fue el momento en el que, lo que siempre había sido mi hobby, pasó a ocupar el lugar principal de mi ser hoy. Simple: necesito rodearme del arte en mi vida.
Mi taller fue cargándose de materiales de pintura, telas, colores y también de arcilla y estecas porque incorporé una de mis grandes pasiones: la escultura.
A partir de ese momento, la figura humana ha sido el centro de mi mirada creativa plasmada en piezas escultóricas trabajadas diversos materiales.
Siempre está presente la música. No podría trabajar sin ella de fondo, porque es el vehículo al que subo para realizar viajes, sin moverme de mi silla, de los que vuelvo con formas y colores que aparecen plasmados en mis obras.
Me han inspirado cosas simples: una puerta, una ventana, escaleras, que son los elementos protagonistas de muchos de mis trabajos y que tienen un significado arquetípico maravilloso, espiritualmente hablando.

Lo que se abre
Puertas y ventanas han sido objetos que me han inspirado.
A veces aparecen en en formato cercano al original, y en ocasiones, otras es solo el estímulo inicial que me invita a volar y ver en cada una, algo diferente.
Con cada ventana o puerta que se abren intento representar la apertura que cada uno de nosotros tiene a sus posibilidades., a sus deseos.

Something about me...
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I currently live.
If I try to find out when I started drawing, I don't know exactly.
Memories come to my mind of moments when, from a very young age, I see myself surrounded by coloured pencils.
My free time was spent drawing and painting. Without a doubt, my mother's devotion to painting and music were a strong influence that marked my vocation.
I graduated with a degree in Psychology and worked for several years until I formed my family with Carlos. We have three children, whom I love.
For a long time, art remained a part of my free time.
In 2007 I began to go through a different stage in my work: I incorporated spirituality, which is currently the basis not only of my sessions, but also of what I try to convey in my works.
The pandemic that hit us worldwide in 2020 was the moment when what had always been my hobby came to occupy the main place of my being today. Simple: I need to surround myself with art in my life.
My studio has been loaded with painting materials, fabrics, colors and clay and stecas, because I incorporated one of my great passions: sculpture.
From that moment on, the human figure has been the center of my creative gaze, embodied in sculptural pieces made from various materials.
Music is always present. I couldn't work without it in the background because it's the vehicle I get on to make trips, without leaving my chair, from which I return with shapes and colors that appear reflected in my works.
I have been inspired by simple things: a door, a window, stairs, which are the main elements in many of my works and which have a wonderful archetypal meaning, spiritually speaking.

What opens
Doors and windows have been objects that have inspired me.
Sometimes they appear in a format close to the original, and sometimes, others are just the initial stimulus that invites me to fly and see something different in each one.
With each window or door that is opened, I try to represent the openness that each one has to their possibilities, to their desires.
